To celebrate the 2023 summer festival season, we have released our brand new T-shirts — and now you can buy them in our shop. Not only that, buy a T-shirt and you can get Snake Eyes on CD for a fiver!
The T-shirt’s design is our take on one of our favourite things, cider. Pete Bailey can be seen sporting the new design in the photo below, taken during Leatherat’s performance on the Weyfest Beekeepers stage last week. This particular piece was modified to Pete’s exacting standards using the kitchen scissors!
If you can wait no longer, go straight to the T-shirt page, select your size and go!
In other news, thanks to each and every one of you that came out to see us over the past couple of weeks. From the packed Fairport Convention Cropredy fringe at the Red Lion, to last weekend’s A New Day and Weyfest in the south-east, we had a ball and we’re still recovering.
August bank holiday weekend sees a Leatherat spin-off duo (Pete and Dave) perform at Banbury’s Pig Place Sunday Shindig, an all-day chilled live music event amongst resident pigs, next to the Oxford Canal. Then we’re back to full band setup, with shows including Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff and Sidney and Matilda in Sheffield.
Dates are already in Leatherat’s diary for 2024, but we can’t tell you about them just yet. Keep an eye on our website’s live page, our Facebook and Instagram pages. We will announce more shows soon. Suffice to say we will there will be plenty more hi-octane folk-rock, unapologetically delivered with fiery passion!
At which venues and festivals would you like to see Leatherat? Let us know in the comments, and let’s see what we can do to make it happen!

Is the Cider T Shirt available in 3XL? I can’t see it as an option.
Cheers
No, sorry, currently 2XL maximum, but they are generously sized. If you want to try and it’s too small, you can return it for refund. Otherwise we will definitely take your query into account when we look at our next order.
Update – our next order will include 3XL. Probably a couple of weeks.

Thanks!
Somewhere up north
You probably saw we’re in Sheffield in October. Otherwise, hopefully see you up north in 2024!
